THE INSPECTION PROCESS
OUTSIDE TO INSIDE
I have a practical, level headed, and thorough approach. I go above and beyond what is mandated by the Standards of Practice, MA. state law 266 CMR, which defines the minimum requirements all home inspectors must follow.
My experience in construction provides insight others rarely have. But knowledge doesn’t mean much if I don’t look everywhere.
During your inspection I will inspect and identify:
- Defects or deficiencies
- Items in need of repair
- Construction methods that are inadequate or not to current standards
- Unsafe conditions and possible health risks
- Evaluation of the Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical systems
- Attic, Basement, Roof and Foundation
Not all issues need immediate repair. I will let you know when they do or don’t.
Little construction mistakes can create big problems. Details matter!
BEFORE YOU GO
When your inspection is done, I will verbally summarize the inspection findings and take time to answer any questions you may have. You will have the information you need to make a sound decision. The inspection report will be delivered quickly to the email address you choose – usually the same day, always within 24 hours. Payment is due at the end of the onsite portion of the inspection and before the report is delivered.
